Inconsistencies in names aside, one thing has always remained true and consistent to brothers Liam and Niall Cameron – BEATS.
What began as a couple of kids fumbling around with idea of DMC and ITF domination turned quickly into a profound respect for music of all categories, creeds and genres and particularly how a DJ can join the dots between hip-hop, downbeat, dub, house, drum and bass and just about anything that catches the ear with groove and melody. Of course dee-jaying lead to production and eventually to a marriage of the two, resulting in the Kamo of today – a multi-armed sound machine.
Originally from Sydney, Australia their love of travel and experience lead them to Amsterdam where they took head-nodding to their level in the coffeeshop scene at their weekly night, Warm at Betty Too.
Nowadays they reside in sunny Manchester, England where they search for ways to express their love of music. Unfiltered and unadulterated. Just like it should be.
