Bankwell Vol.1

We love mixtapes.

Ten years ago we started Dj-ing and ever since we’ve been stringing tracks together on tapes, cd’s, digital mixers and dusty old four-tracks.  Now after a decade technology has caught up with our imaginations and the Bankwell series is what has evolved.

We’re not stringing tracks together anymore.  We’re tearing them apart, stuffing them into the Ableton blender and pouring out beat puree.  Four bars of this, a little bass to taste, some yelping, a location recording, a whole lot of effects and you get the idea.  This is just as much a production process as it is a DJ set.

Hopefully the tracks on this mix are enough to whet your taste-buds, ear-buds, ass-buds and feet-buds.  It sure works for us.
